3. The Mavericks were unconscious from the field

When watching this game, any common NBA fan could tell that the Mavericks were simply on fire, and the shots they were taking were probably going to go in no matter how contested they were.

The Mavericks shot 50% from the field, 43.6% from the three-point line, and 83.3% from the free-throw line.

Nobody in their starting lineup shot less than 46% from the field, and Christian Wood had 25 points off of their bench.

Guys like Spencer Dinwiddie and Tim Hardaway Jr. hit multiple step-back threes with guys right in their faces. If that is happening, you are going to have a tough time winning the basketball game.

Blowouts like this happen to every single team in the NBA. You can not go 82-0, and there will be nights when things aren’t going your team’s way.

The most important thing to do is to not overreact. Let the Grizzlies get healthy and get some rest and I promise you that they will be just fine.
