Memphis loves Mike Conley, and Mike Conley loves Memphis. Not long before Ja Morant arrived, Mac-11 was the starting point guard during the most successful era of Grizzlies basketball.

He stayed in Beale Street for 12 seasons and became a part of the “Core Four” alongside Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph, and Tony Allen.

He may be in Utah for the last three years, but he still remains the Grizzlies’ all-time leader in points, assists, and steals. It’s surely just a matter of time until the number 11 jersey takes its place in the rafters of FedEx Forum.

As the Grizzlies face the Utah Jazz twice in the next three days, let’s take a moment to remember Mike’s greatest moments in a Memphis uniform.

Becoming the Grizzlies’ all-time leading scorer

On March 27, 2019, in a game against the Warriors, Conley would surpass Marc Gasol, becoming the Memphis Grizzlies’ all-time scoring leader. It was only fitting that this would be his last game at FedEx Forum, receiving a standing ovation from the fans.

Three days later, he would play his last game as a Grizzly, finishing his Memphis career with 11,733 points.

Not many players can say that they lead a whole franchise in total points, but Mike Conley is one of them.
