Will Ja Morant or Damian Lillard play tonight?

The Memphis Grizzlies have had as bad of luck with injuries as physically possible through the first seven games of the year.

Monday night against the Jazz, two more bodies dropped as Steven Adams exited the game with a jaw injury and Brandon Clarke exited with a towel covering his hand.

Here’s how the Grizzlies Injury Report looks going into tonight:

  • Steven Adams: Questionable (Jaw Soreness)
  • Desmond Bane: Questionable (RT Ankle Soreness)
  • Jake LaRavia: Questionable (Non-COVID Illness)
  • Ziaire Williams: Out (RT Patellar Tendinitis)
  • Jaren Jackson Jr.: Out (RT Foot Surgery Recovery)
  • Danny Green: Out (LT Knee Surgery Recovery)

As you can see, it is pretty extensive.

Luckily, Brandon Clarke avoided being on the report, and there is definitely a chance that Bane, Adams, and LaRavia all suit up. If not, somebody other than Ja Morant will have to step up if the Grizzlies want to have a chance at winning this game.

The Grizzlies are not the only team with injuries though, as here is what the Blazers injury report looks like:

  • Josh Hart: Questionable
  • Damian Lillard: Out
  • Gary Payton II: Out
  • Trendon Watford: Out

The Blazers will be without their best player in Damian Lillard, so it will be interesting to see who will step up for both teams tonight.
