The best matchup in the NBA on Thursday night is in Memphis, as Ja Morant and the Grizzlies host Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Grizzlies have been one of the best home teams in the NBA this season to bet on, going 12-2 straight up and 10-3-1 against the spread in 14 games. That gives them value as short favorites in this matchup, but you don’t just have to bet on the game!

There are other fun ways to get involved in the sports betting space, such as taking prop bets for this matchup, especially when it’s on your favorite team.

With players like Jrue Holiday and Desmond Bane out due to injury, there are a few props that I love for the Bucks-Grizzlies showdown:

Bucks vs. Grizzlies Best NBA Prop Bets

  • Khris Middleton OVER 18.5 Points (-125)
  • Jaren Jackson Jr. UNDER 0.5 Assists (+120)
  • Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 15.5 Points (-120)

Khris Middleton OVER 18.5 Points (-125)

Khris Middleton has cleared this number in back-to-back games, and he only needed 13 shots and 29 minutes of action to do so against the Golden State Warriors in his last game.

The All-Star wing is working his way back from a wrist injury, but he’s going to have an expanded role for Milwaukee with Jrue Holiday (illness) out for this game.

Middleton has averaged 20 or more points per game in four of his last five seasons, so anything below 19.5 is a must bet on the OVER for me as he rounds into form.

Jaren Jackson Jr. UNDER 0.5 Assists (+120)

There’s value on this number for Jaren Jackson Jr. at plus money, as he’s recorded just four assists in 11 games since returning to the lineup.

He did pick up two dimes in the Grizzlies’ last game, but I think that has inflated this line way too much towards the OVER.

The Bucks allow the fewest assists per game (21.4) this season, and they have the league’s No. 1 defensive rating.

JJJ’s role isn’t to distribute the ball in this offense, and he hasn’t done it all season long. Take the UNDER and appreciate the plus money value.

Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 15.5 Points (-120)

Another Jackson Jr. prop? Why not!

The Grizzlies big man has stepped up in a big way with Bane sidelined, averaging 18.4 points per game while shooting 51.1 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from beyond the arc.

Jackson Jr. is also taking 12.5 shots per game amassing at least 10 shot attempts in nine of his 11 games. That’s led to him clearing his prop number for tonight at 15.5 in eight of his 11 contests.

The Bucks are a great defensive team, but this comes down to volume for JJJ, and he’s going to see it for the Grizzlies.

This number is at 16.5 at some books, so if you can find a 15.5 (DraftKings) go for it.
