The Memphis Grizzlies are looking to avoid a third straight loss on Monday night when they take on the Sacramento Kings.

Memphis has listed Ja Morant and Steven Adams as questionable for this game, which could change the prop market in this game.

I still think there is value on Morant’s points prop if he plays, but there are two other plays to consider as well in this matchup:

Grizzlies vs. Kings best NBA prop bets today

  • Ja Morant OVER 28.5 Points
  • Domantas Sabonis UNDER 12.5 Rebounds
  • Grizzlies First Quarter Moneyline

Ja Morant OVER 28.5 Points

This is a game script that I think benefits Ja Morant in a big way, as both of these teams are top-10 in the league in pace this season, and the total in this game is all the way up at 246.5.

Morant is averaging 27.2 points per game this season, and he went for 35 points the last time these two teams matched up.

Since Christmas Day, Ja has appeared in 13 games, averaging 28.8 points per game and taking 21.5 shots per game. That’s plenty of volume for him to go OVER this number against a Kings team that is bottom 10 in the league in defensive rating.

Domantas Sabonis UNDER 13.5 Rebounds

This may seem like a crazy bet since Sabonis is averaging 12.6 rebounds per game this season, but the Grizzlies rank second in the NBA in rebounding percentage this season.

Sabonis has been a beast on the glass, but he’s still gone UNDER 12.5 rebounds in three of his last nine games, including a nine-board game against the Philadelphia 76ers, who are one of the lesser rebounding teams in the league, ranking 25th in rebounding percentage.

I think the Grizz throw as many bodies as possible at Sabonis to keep him from dominating the glass.

Grizzlies First Quarter Moneyline

The Grizzlies are one of the best first quarter teams in the NBA, ranking No. 4 in net rating, while the Kings are surprisingly 19th in that statistic despite their fast-paced attack.

The Grizzlies are one of the best defenses in the NBA this season, and that won’t change even if Morant is out of the lineup.

I think this has some sneaky value at even money on Monday.
