Best NBA prop bets for Grizzlies vs. Timberwolves (Triple J needs to rebound… literally)

The Memphis Grizzlies are a contender in the Western Conference, but if they want to be NBA Champions, then they need to find a way to get out of this four-game losing streak.

Minnesota is the last stop on the Grizzlies road trip, and for Ja Morant and the Grizzlies to get back into the win column, they’ll need their big man to play big.

Let’s get into a couple of props for tonight’s matchup between the Grizzlies and Timberwolves in Minnesota.

• Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 7.5 Rebounds (-115)
• Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 2.5 Blocks (-125)
• Dillon Brooks Over 13.5 Points (-118)

Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 7.5 Rebounds (-115)

Jackson is the favorite to win DPOY right now and is dominant on that end of the floor in almost every aspect… almost. JJJ is not a good rebounder for his size, he averages just 6.6 a game.

With Steven Adams out, the Grizzlies were outrebounded 44-36 in their loss to the Warriors on Wednesday. JJJ had just six boards in that one and he needs to be big tonight against the Timberwolves especially with Karl-Anthony Towns out.

Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 2.5 Blocks (-125)

Not only did Jackson only grab six rebounds against Golden State, but he didn’t have a block either. KAT is out for Minnesota and Rudy Gobert is questionable tonight. That means Minnesota’s offense will rely on Anthony Edwards relentlessly attacking the rim. Somebody better be there to stop him or he’ll go off for 37 like he did in the T-Wolves win over New Orleans.

Dillon Brooks Over 13.5 Points (-118)

Not only is Steven Adams out, but Desmond Bane is questionable. Bane might be able to play, but I wouldn’t expect him to be at 100%. In that case Brooks will be the primary initiator when Morant is off the floor. That’s not always great news for Memphis’s offensive efficiency, but Brooks will put up points.
