Grizzlies vs. Bulls prediction and odds for Sunday, April 2 (Grizz pick up road win)
By Peter Dewey
The Memphis Grizzlies are just two games back of the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, and they’ll look to keep the pressure on the Denver Nuggets on Sunday when they take on the Chicago Bulls.
Chicago has the No. 10 seed in the East, winning six of its last 10 games, but it finds itself as an underdog at home in this one.
Memphis hasn’t been great on the road, but the team has really picked things up over the last few weeks, ranking sixth in the NBA in net rating over its last 10 games.
Can the Grizzlies grab a road win against a surging Chicago team? Here’s a look at the odds and my best bet for this matchup:
Grizzlies vs. Bulls odds, spread and total
Grizzlies vs. Bulls prediction and pick
The Bulls have played some really solid basketball as of late, especially since acquiring Patrick Beverley, but I’m not sold on them winning this game.
Chicago is just 7-10-1 against the spread as a home underdog this season, and while the team is fourth in the league in defensive rating over its last 10, this may be the toughest matchup its had over that stretch.
Memphis is No. 2 in the league in offensive rating in the last 10 games, scoring over 121 points per 100 possessions.
The return of Ja Morant has helped, and the Grizzlies are on a lengthy winning stretch at the perfect time of the season.
While Memphis is under .500 ATS as a road favorite, the team has won three of its last four games on the road.
I question whether or not the Bulls, who take the fewest 3s in the league, will be able to keep up with this Grizzlies offense. Instead of laying the two points, I’ll just bet on Memphis to win.
