2. SF Ziaire Williams

During his rookie season, Ziaire Williams showed tons of potential as the 10th overall pick. However, during his second year in the league, Williams was disappointing and likely tanked his trade value for this offseason.

Obviously, Williams’ career isn’t written off and he will likely return to form in 2024. However, even when he was healthy this season, Williams didn’t look all that great. Through the 37 games we saw from Williams, he averaged 5.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game while shooting 42.9% from the field and 25.8% from deep.

Prior to this season, Williams very well could have been a pretty big asset in a potential trade. Instead, the Grizzlies will likely have to wait until the upcoming season starts to see if Williams returns to form before they decide if they wish to trade him or not.

We have all the faith in the world that Williams will have a much improved 2024 season. However, he must stay healthy and be more consistent if he wants this to happen. Regardless of whether or not the Grizzlies will look to trade him, an improved season from Williams could be a huge boost for the team.
