Predicting where each Memphis Grizzlies’ free agent will play in 2023-24
By Dalton Sell
The Memphis Grizzlies entered the off-season with plenty of storylines hanging over the head.
Above all else was Ja Morant, who will be suspended for 25 games to start next season due to another incident involving a gun. There’s also a new rumor floating around about Tyus Jones, as Action Network’s Matt Moore has said that he believes the guard will be on a new team by the time summer ends. Even if Morant wasn’t set to be suspended, that would be puzzling. Yet, with the guard set to miss 25 games, it makes little to no sense whatsoever. Nevertheless, those are just two key storylines to follow for what should be an interesting off-season for Memphis.

One major storyline that isn’t being overly talked about is what the Grizzlies will do in free agency in regard to their own players. Only two players on their roster will hit the market, which is among the fewest in the league, but they are a pair of key players. Xavier Tillman Sr. and Dillon Brooks are free agency eligible after serving as rotational players for the Grizzlies this past season. Memphis will more than likely focus on trades to upgrade the roster this off-season, but they will first have to decide what to do with both of these players.
With all of that said, let us predict where both Tillman and Brooks will play on the opening night of the 2023-24 NBA season later this year.
