Grizzlies star Ja Morant’s NBA 2K24 ratings revealed
By Mark Nilon
Since entering the league as the second overall pick back in 2019, Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant has gone on to establish himself as one of the best talents currently in the association.
From his stellar reactionary skills to his high-flying athleticism, the 24-year-old is certainly revered as one of the game’s top backcourt options, and his rankings in the upcoming NBA 2K24 video game certainly suggest this to be the case.
Grizzlies guard Ja Morant will begin NBA 2K24 as a 92 overall
Morant comes into the 2023-24 campaign listed as a 92 overall and is ranked as the sixth-best backcourt player in the league.
Smack dab in the middle of the 94-ranked Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (which is certainly questionable, with all due respect) and the seventh-placed Donovan Mitchell at a 92 as well in this category, the Grizzlies guard also finds himself landing in the 15-slot when it comes to overall players in the league.
His dunk rating also boasts a 97 grade, which places him at number one in the league, directly leading the likes of Zion Williamson and Shaedon Sharpe.
This marks the third year in a row where the point guard finds himself in the 90s and is the second consecutive season where he boasts a 92 overall rating.

A two-time All-Star and an All-NBA second-team selectee, Morant is coming off a 2022-23 campaign where he posted sensational averages of 26.2 points, 8.1 assists, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.1 steals while shooting 46.6 percent from the field.
Now, despite his 25-game suspension to start the upcoming 2023-24 season, upon his return to the lineup, many expect the polarizing Grizzlies star to put forth some of the best efforts of his already impressive career.
While he is slated to begin 2K24 with a 92 overall rating, don’t be surprised if this number rises a few notches before the conclusion of the season.
The game is set for a September 8 release date.
