1. O.G. Anunoby

Robert Williams III may be the name that most recently has been heavily linked to the Grizzlies organization, but O.G. Anunoby has been someone that fans, media pundits, and even the organization have been interested in for quite some time.

This past offseason it was reported by ESPN’s Tim McMahon that Memphis “had high, high interest” in acquiring his services, and, considering their need for a wing with the departure of Dillon Brooks during the summer coupled with his specific on-court abilities, it’s easy to see why.

An extremely underrated two-way talent, Anunoby is once again putting forth a tremendous season for the Toronto Raptors, as he’s averaging 16.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and just shy of a block while shooting 55.9 percent from the floor and 42.5 percent from distance.

On top of this, he’s also sporting a 114 offensive rating and a 107 defensive rating — two tremendous marks — and is boasting a +3.2 box plus-minus.

This appears to be going with the trend of his career as a whole, for, with every passing season, Anunoby has managed to find a way to improve upon his game, and 2023-24 is off to a career-best pace.

All this attached to a 26-year-old wing with an All-Defensive selection and an NBA Championship (won title with Toronto in 2019) synonymous with his name could prove to be the ideal grab for the Grizzlies, both in the now as well as long-term.
