Abbas Bokhari
Abbas Bokhari is a contributor for Beale Street Bears. Abbas graduated from Penn State in 2024 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy and Global Security. He is a lifelong NBA fan, with the Memphis Grizzlies being his favorite team. He is very passionate about basketball and is looking to dive deeper into the world of NBA content writing. Outside of basketball, he enjoys traveling, watching MMA, and spending time with friends and family.

Bryant Love
Bryant is a passionate basketball enthusiast and a contributor to Beale Street Bears, covering the Memphis Grizzlies. Her love for writing began early and followed her through college, where she had the opportunity to teach writing to students all over the world. While basketball is her primary focus, she also enjoys following a variety of other sports, including baseball, football, softball, and soccer.
Evan Hayes
Evan Hayes is a contributor to Beale Street Bears for FanSided, covering the Memphis Grizzlies. He’s been writing about sports since 2022. He previously was a beat writer for Bluff City Media (2023-24), where he wrote game reviews, previews, and analytical features about the Grizzlies. He has a weekly episodic Grizzlies-themed podcast called the No Bluffin’ Podcast (2023-Present) on Bluff City Media’s YouTube. Evan loves working out, listening to music, playing basketball, and currently runs track at Alabama A&M University as a sprinter.

Jack Simone is the Site Expert and Editor at Hardwood Houdini. He is a credentialed member of the media and has been on the Boston Celtics beat for three full seasons. Following a Bachelor's degree at Worcester State, he earned a Master's in Sports Communication at Regis College, graduating in 2022. He's worked at CelticsBlog, Heavy.com, and other FanSided sites, all starting in 2020. In his free time, he enjoys watching YouTube, playing basketball, and golfing, though he is still on a quest to break 90.

Parish Sharkey is the site expert for Beale Street Bears, covering the Memphis Grizzlies. He is also a contributor for Titan Sized, covering the Tennessee Titans. He has previously written for SBNation's Grizzly Bear Blues and hosted their Starting 5 podcast from 2020 to 2023. That transitioned him to becoming the Memphis Hustle beat writer in 2023. Currently, he serves as a Memphis Grizzlies beat reporter for Bluff City Media and is the founder of Let’s Be Real Media, a sports podcast network. His previous duties also include serving as the Memphis Tigers Beat Reporter and podcast host of Bluff City Buzzer for iHeartMedia in 2018. His hobbies include spending time with his wife, playing basketball, and watching sports (mainly football and basketball).
