Grizzlies' Projected Starters and Key Players off the Bench
The Grizzlies' projected starting lineup will be Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Marcus Smart, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Zach Edey. All five of the projected starters are on pace to be available on opening night.
The key impact players coming off the bench will be Brandon Clarke, Santi Aldama, Luke Kennard, Vince Williams Jr., GG Jackson II, and Scotty Pippen Jr. Vince Williams Jr. will likely not be available on opening night but will return very soon. GG Jackson II will be out until late November or early December as he recovers from foot surgery.
Watch out for the new offensive system that will focus on pace, possessions, and principles, as the Grizzlies will try to run their opponents out of the gym. Expect some growing pains with this new system but the end goal may provide dividends as the team's star player will probably excel with this style of play.
