The Memphis Grizzlies are now riding a three-game winning streak as they continue their four-game homestand after a 25-point victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night. Coach Taylor Jenkins played an 11-man rotation that saw nobody playing less than 14 minutes and seemed to work for at least one night.

The team also returned two important pieces to the puzzle with Ja Morant and Marcus Smart entering the fold to give the Grizzlies their healthiest team since the season began. With only Zach Edey, GG Jackson, and Vince Williams Jr. (all rotation guys) out, the Grizzlies are ready to make some noise in the West, headed by Ja Morant.

The electrifying point guard didn't take long to remind the fanbase and league just how good and exciting of a player he is to watch. He compiled a list of plays last night that not many outside of him can make and it gave the team a jolt of energy that initiated their blowout victory.

His first dunk of the season

Believe it or not, Ja Morant had been trying to save himself by attempting to dunk on others less before his latest injury this season. He only had one dunk (that didn't count) and another attempt on an alley-oop that led to his recent hip injury that caused him to miss eight games.

However, he reminded the league quickly how ferocious he is when he gets a head of steam for a dunk attempt.

The FedExForum was the loudest it had been all season after that dunk by Morant as it was a reminder that he still had the ability after saving his game to protect his body for the long run. He even joked after the game that it would be the only one that people would get to see this season.

Impressive passes

Ja Morant is currently ranked third in the NBA in assists per game with 9.3 and he delivered 11 assists in his return last night to go along with 22 points. Two passes, in particular, dazzled the fanbase and showed what the team has been missing from their star player when he is not playing.

This behind-the-back pass to Brandon Clarke for the dunk was textbook from the Ja Morant passing tree. His ability to stop on a dime within a double team and see Clarke behind him wide-open for an easy two points is something only a few players can do in the association.

Later in the game, Morant delivered an alley-oop pass to Jaren Jackson Jr. to an area where only Jaren could get the basketball. Like a quarterback threading the needle to a wide receiver in football throwing to only a spot where his man can get the football, Ja Morant produced the same result on the basketball court.

Ja Morant admitted that he thought he overthrew the pass to Jaren but it was perfect and also his favorite pass of the night. The Grizzlies have their superstar back and that means good things not only for the team but the entire NBA fanbase.
