23. Atlanta Hawks (via Kings) take Oso Ighodaro

Ighodaro continues to improve at Marquette. The senior is setting new career highs in scoring, rebounds, minutes, and steals per game. He has intriguing upside as a playmaker and defender, but the 21-year-old has warts.

Ighodaro attempted the first two 3-pointers of his college career this season and missed them both. He is a plus athlete, but having a four without an outside shot is a gamble in 2024. Ighodaro can guard multiple positions and figures to grow into a plus NBA defender. His upside is limited, but the 21-year-old should crack the rotation quickly and play a key role for his team.

Ighodaro has a high floor, but limited upside. He will find his way into a rotation and could become a starter. The 21-year-old is never blossoming into an NBA All-Star.

The Atlanta Hawks could be trade deadline sellers as they continue to dip in the standings. Dejounte Murray is firmly in trade rumors, and the franchise could decide to blow things up. Getting a quality role in the 20s in an uncertain draft could be appealing, especially if the Hawks keep Trae Young and try to build around him. Oso Ighodaro is 6’9 and brings the defense Atlanta needs.
