Grizzlies vs. Bucks NBA expert prediction and odds for Wednesday, April 3 (Back Memphis on road)
By Peter Dewey
The Memphis Grizzlies are looking to steal a road game as major underdogs on Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks, who are playing the second night of a back-to-back.
Milwaukee lost against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night without Damian Lillard, and the team is looking to lock up the No. 2 seed in the East with Cleveland, Orlando, and New York still in striking distance as the regular season winds down.
Memphis has been a much better team on the road (17-22) than at home (8-28), but does it have enough firepower to compete with one of the NBA’s best teams?
Remember, the Grizzlies upset the Bucks right before the All-Star break in Memphis with an extremely short-handed squad.

Grizzlies vs. Bucks key players to watch
Memphis Grizzlies
GG Jackson II: The rookie forward has been a nice surprise for Memphis this season, and he played great in his last meeting with the Bucks, putting up 27 points and shooting 6-for-10 from 3 in the win. Jackson is averaging 13.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game this season.
Milwaukee Bucks
Giannis Antetokounmpo: It’ll be interesting to see if the Bucks star suits up on the second night of a back-to-back, but the team certainly would benefit if he did. The two-time league MVP is averaging 30.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game this season while shooting 61.4 percent from the field.
Grizzlies vs. Bucks prediction and pick
This is a prime spot to bet on Memphis, even with key players like Bane, Smart, and Morant still out of the lineup.
The Grizzlies have thrived as road underdogs this season, going 19-15 against the spread, and the Bucks are coming off a terrible loss to Washington on Tuesday night.
The Bucks are just 6-6 against the spread on the second night of a back-to-back, and the team may sit players in this spot to keep them healthy for the playoffs.
Memphis is not a good team right now by any stretch, but the team has shown an ability to hang around on the road all season long. With Jaren Jackson Jr. expected to play tonight, I think Memphis has the firepower to keep this game within 14 points.
Pick: Grizzlies +13.5 (-110)
