Despite what their lowly start to the 2023-24 season may insinuate, the Memphis Grizzlies have myriad quality talents present on their roster.
From established stars like Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. to rising studs such as Desmond Bane, Taylor Jenkins' arsenal of players is brimming with high-end contributors.
However, being they are a club looking to legitimately contend for a playoff position, seeing that they currently boast the league's fourth-worst record at 5-14 it's evident that they must consider looking into making some sort of shakeup to get themselves onto the proverbial road to recovery
While there are many proposed plans for the team to accomplish such an objective, the most entertaining course of action would be for the front office to scour the trade market for a possible roster-bolstering deal.
Having said that, in the event that a transaction such as this is actively sought after, some such as Bleacher Report's Zach Buckley believe that a "selective selling" of assets could prove to be mightily beneficial and, luckily for the Grizzlies, they have several to spare.
Memphis Grizzlies assets that must be shopped on trade market
Looking at the franchise's current collection of players and commodities as a whole, one could easily see a number of them being pursued in some capacity at any point between now and February 8's deadline.
Of course, the return each would warrant varies from asset to asset and there are a few, in particular, that Memphis might want to test the interest levels on by shopping them on the trade market.
