1. Nic Claxton

The concept of adding Nic Claxton to this Grizzlies team has been heavily discussed recently, as both he and former AAU teammate Ja Morant have seemingly dropped hints about a possible desire to join forces once again in the pros.

This coupled with the fact that he's playing out the final months of his current contract and, in turn, is slated to hit the unrestricted free agency market this coming summer should make it rather unsurprising that he finds himself mentioned on this type of list.

Throughout his five-year career with the Brooklyn Nets, the 24-year-old has established himself as one of the game's most elite rim runners and protectors. In 48 games played in 2023-24, he boasts tremendous averages of 12.0 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks while converting on an incredibly efficient 62.6 percent from the field.

Already, the Grizzlies have witnessed the brand of impact Claxton can have on a game, as he just recently registered 10 points, 4 boards, three assists, three blocks, and a steal on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting from the floor during their February 26 drubbing versus the Nets.

Bringing on someone of his ilk could help solidify Memphis' status as having one of the league's best young cores while also strengthening their chances of bringing home the illustrious Larry O'Brien Trophy within the next several years.
