All season long, key members of the Memphis Grizzlies have been sidelined left and right due to varying degrees of health-related ailments. However, with 14 games remaining on the docket, many are making their way back into the fold.

Most recently, budding star Desmond Bane made his long-awaited return to the hardwood on March 18 against the OKC Thunder following a two-month-long injury-induced hiatus.

A showing that saw him drop 22 points, 7 assists, 3 rebounds, and a block in 32 minutes, the 25-year-old's performance was so captivating it seemingly now has many excited for what this Grizzlies team could look like once the rest of their core gets back healthy.

Bane's outing might have also had an impact on superstar Ja Morant's eagerness to return to the floor, as he crafted a post on his personal X account (previously Twitter) that seemingly indicates he's now counting down the time between now and his own reintroduction to the club's lineup.

Morant has had quite a challenging 2023-24 campaign, as it kicked off with him suspended for the first 25 games due to well-documented off-court troubles, and then, after just nine games following his debut on December 19, he underwent a season-ending right shoulder surgery after sustaining a subluxation during a team practice.

With him teamed up with the likes of Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Marcus Smart, this Grizzlies team is viewed as a legitimate threat to take home the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Though this year may already be a wash, the franchise cornerstone seemingly already has his sights set on a successful future.

Let the countdown begin!
