The Memphis Grizzlies are seemingly making their intentions known during these final days of NBA trade season.

Kicking the month off by shipping Steven Adams to the Houston Rockets, on Wednesday afternoon GM Zach Kleiman has now followed up with yet another surprise move by dealing big man Xavier Tillman to the Boston Celtics in exchange for a package of two future second-round picks.

With these two exchanges, it appears that the Grizzlies are officially punting on this year's campaign and, in turn, are aiming to create more salary flexibility and add extra draft assets ahead of a 2024 offseason where the goal will be to construct a legitimate championship contender.

Memphis Grizzlies players who could be moved after Xavier Tillman deal

Considering the trajectory they currently find themselves on, with just a day to go till the February 8 trade cutoff it's safe to assume that there will be a few more players seen heading outbound as they execute their mid-season sell-off.

As for who might be the next to go, there are three players, in particular, to keep an eye on.

3. Victor Oladipo

First up on the list is quite possibly the most obvious candidate that could be parted with in the near future, Victor Oladipo.

Acquired in the Steven Adams trade alongside three second rounders, the former All-Star has been relegated to the sidelines since last April, where he suffered a torn patellar tendon in his left knee that, ultimately, required surgery.

Still with no timetable to return, on this lottery-destined, youth-movement Grizzlies team Oladipo is simply serving as deadweight with an attached price tag of $9.4 million.

Be it via trade or by being waived, one should expect to see the franchise moving on from the 31-year-old at some point in the not-too-distant future.
