Jordan Goodwin

Signed in mid-February of last season to a 10-day and then, upon its expiration, a two-way, Jordan Goodwin quickly endeared himself to his Grizzlies teammates and coaching staff as well as the Grind City faithful thanks to his versatility and high-end energy.

From his distribution and rebounding skills to his tough-nosed defensive chops, the 25-year-old was a clear favorite of coach Taylor Jenkins' during the latter half of this past season, and, toward the end, became a regular within the club's starting rotation.

Boasting averages of 10.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.5 steals, and then 12.9 points, 11.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.4 steals during the final eight games of the year, it's quite evident that Goodwin's talents are all-encompassing, while his 6-foot-4, 200-pound build allows him the ability to slot in anywhere from the one to the three, making him an exciting project player for any team that has time to hone and develop youngsters.

Projected landing spot: Brooklyn Nets

Because of this, a team that could use for a bit of everything and that's clearly now embarking on a full-fledged rebuild in the Brooklyn Nets (ironically, they acquired and then waived him prior to his signing with the Grizzlies) could be an ideal destination for the 25-year-old, as they'd provide him with ample opportunities on the hardwood and, should he produce to a similar tune to what he was playing at during the final stages of 2023-24, could then be flipped for valuable draft picks mid-way through the year.

On a low-cost, minimum contract, Goodwin could be a solid grab for Brooklyn.
