Ranking each month of Grizzlies 2024-25 NBA schedule on level of difficulty

2) March
Out of their 16 games to be played, only three will find opponents who finished off last season with fewer than 46 wins and five of these games will be against teams who accumulated a whopping 50 or more in 2023-24.
Though they may creep into March with somewhat of an easy string of contests, as they'll be facing off against the Spurs and Hawks in games one and two, from there they immediately will be playing the likes of the Thunder, Mavericks, Pelicans, and Suns over just six nights.
And while things may seem to ease up a bit during the middle stage of the month, with a four-game home stand slated to come underway from Mar. 10-15, they then wrap up their final five games on the calendar page with top-end teams such as the Clippers, Thunder, Lakers, and then, for the finale, the reigning champion Celtics.
1) December
As things currently stand, December appears to present itself as the toughest month for the Grizzlies in 2024-25.
Right off the bat, Memphis will be playing against three separate teams who participated in their respective conference finals last season, two of whom were featured in the 2024 NBA Finals in the Mavericks (Dec. 3) and Celtics (Dec. 7), and both of which will be road-tilts for coach Taylor Jenkins' team.
From there they get a little break with a matchup against the lowly Wizards, but this will be coming on the night directly following their face-off against Boston which, in turn, could very easily have them coming into this otherwise easy outing a bit sluggish and susceptible to an upset loss.
The big kicker for the team will be the final three games when they'll be on the road facing the Pelicans, Thunder, and Suns, respectively, all of whom managed to accumulate a total of 155 collective wins last season
December will also see the Grizzlies play host on just five occasions during their 13 games played
