2. Brandon Clarke

Now to make this list a bit hotter, we see the fan-favorite power forward Brandon Clarke making his way into the discussion of players who could be traded after the conclusion of 2023-24.

Sidelined since last March after tearing his left Achilles, the 27-year-old is believed to be on track to make his return to the hardwood at some point after the All-Star break.

While fans may be excited to bear witness to what he may be able to provide the team following such a serious injury, the front office might be looking at his impending return as an opportunity to showcase his skills to amplify his stock on the trade market.

As we saw with the Steven Adams exchange, Zach Kleiman isn't afraid to move on from his injured big men, regardless of how beloved and impactful they may be when healthy.

Before his Achilles tear, Clarke had established himself as a highly effective two-way big man who can guard virtually any frontcourt position on defense and drop in points from almost anywhere on the court. On top of this, throughout his four active seasons, he boasted averages of 10.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and just shy of a block while shooting 60.4 percent from the field.

Of course, a large part of his game relied on his sheer athleticism and electrifying bounce, both intangibles that often are significantly impacted by an injury such as his.

Should there be any long-term concerns from Kleiman and co. regarding his ability to get back to his pre-injury form -- based on the history of the ailment, this is a serious possibility --, this offseason could be a time when Clarke could very well be shopped and, in turn, moved.
