2. Grizzlies get in on Hawks sale

Things have not gone as planned for Atlanta. They are trying to recreate the magic of their 2021 run to the conference finals, but it is just not there. The Hawks are seven games under .500 and currently 12th in the Eastern Conference. The rumors are heating up in Atlanta, including talks of being sellers.

They are not trading Trae Young or Jalen Johnson, but the rest of their roster can be had for the right price. This could be the Grizzlies' chance to get a shooter and a big man to round out their roster. The Hawks have plenty of pieces, but will they trade their talent?

Grizz get Capela and Bogdanovic

If Atlanta is retooling around Ice Trae, they need an elite screen-setter, shooters, and defense. They won’t get it this season, but Adams may be the best screener in the league. Kennard is an elite shooter, and Brandon Clarke has room to grow if he is healthy. The Hawks also get two firsts to further upgrade their roster.

The Grizzlies are ecstatic to land a starting center and one of the league’s best sixth man. Bogdanovic is a career 38.6 percent 3-point shooter who gets buckets. Capela is an elite roll man and could help Ja Morant go to another level. This could be a win-win deal, but only if the Hawks decide to blow it up for the Feb. 8 trade deadline.
