– The Golden Streak is over. For the first time since January 27th’s meeting with the Chicago Bulls, the Warriors have lost at home. The triumphant winner? The Memphis Grizzlies, bringing the series back to the FedEx Forum 1-1. Conley’s royal return, the Z-Bo show, and Mr. First Team All-Defense combined for a historic playoff win.

Stephen Curry is awarded the MVP Trophy before the game’s opening jump ball. Curry would go on to score or assist on the Warriors 1st seven field goals of the game. The Grizzlies’ tough defense would then put the clamps on Curry, holding one of the league’s greatest three point shooters to 2-11 from beyond the arch and 7-19 overall. Curry would finish with 19 points (2015 Playoff low), 6 assists, and 5 rebounds.

– It was the Mike Conley exhibition, all-day every-day. Conley scored 5-6 field goals to start off the match, finishing with a team high 22 points on 8-12 shooting. Conley returned after a serious injury suffered during Game 3 of the prior Portland Trail Blazers series. Left handed floaters raining down. No mask is gonna stop him from dropping shots. Conley, made certain the Warriors knew the Sheriff is back in town. Never forgotten.

– First team all defense Tony Allen was delivering on all fronts. Snagging 4 steals and making offensive life for the Warriors a fierce uphill battle. Allen was tenacious, resilient, and monumental in this Grizzlies win. This is a man who takes defense seriously. An old-school legionary. Teaching a defensive master class every time down. Allen finished with 9 points, 4 boards, 2 assists, 4 steals and 1 block.

– The ZBO Show rolled into Oracle arena, scoring in the post early and often. Randolph’s offense was spectacular, a tour de force of post play. Zach Randolph finished with 20 points (7-16), 7 boards, 4 assists and 1 steal.

Marc Gasol and Courtney Lee would combine for 30 points, 8 boards, 4 assists and 4 steals in the matchup against the Warriors. Lee provided crucial three point shooting in the back court going 2-4. Gasol delivered his usual set of first class offensive and defensive play in the lane.

– Mike Conley hit the dagger 3 with 2:11 minutes remaining to put the Grizzlies up by ten points, 90-80! An amazing win by the Memphis Grizzlies!
