The Mavericks have quietly had a great off-season.  Aside from losing Vince Carter to your Memphis Grizzlies, they have added some great pieces.  They were able to make a swap for Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton, while also signing Chandler Parsons.  Felton is a bit of a question mark at this point, since his play has declined as of late.  He also is going through legal issues at the moment, but it doesn’t appear that they will bar him from playing.  The Mavs also brought Dirk Nowitzki back on a very affordable three year, $25 million deal.

With the veteran leadership and talent on this roster, Dallas is poised to make a solid playoff push.  Even if they don’t contend, they will definitely cause problems for other teams in the West.
