Differences & Changes for Game 3

Game 3 will be vastly different for the Portland Trail Blazers because Arron Afflalo is expected to be back in their lineup.

Afflalo is one of the league’s better two-way players. He is a great defender and he can score when he wants–including from beyond the arc. Afflalo may be the spark the Blazers need to get back into this series, but if the Grizzlies continue their defensive mark as they have all season long, Portland will have to hope that shots are falling elsewhere in their lineup.

Chris Kaman will also be back with PDX after missing Game 2 with a minor injury. Portland needs all the bigs they can get, so Kaman will help them quite a bit off the bench.

This Blazers’ roster is now as complete as it is going to be for the remainder of their postseason.

Here is the word on the Portland Trail Blazers’ injuries regarding Game 3, according to the Blazers’ Digital Reporter, Casey Holdahl.

Injury Report

The Memphis Grizzlies list Zach Randolph as being probable after experiencing a sore ankle.

The Portland Trail Blazers list Chris Kaman (ankle) as probable along with Arron Afflalo (shoulder). Dorell Wright is out with a fractured left hand. Wesley Matthews is out for the season due to a torn left Achilles.
