Point Guard

Mike Conley will be returning from a facial fracture that he suffered from during the Grizzlies’ opening round playoff victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

After two stellar performances against the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 & 3 of the Western Conference Semifinal, Conley faded away like the rest of the team.

Russ Smith is coming into the season as a highly touted prospect who propelled the Grizzlies’ Orlando Summer League squad to a championship.

Veteran guard Beno Udrih is coming off of one of the most solid seasons of his career as he averaged 7.7 points per game for the Grizzlies’ in just over 18 minutes. Not only was Udrih solid off the bench, he was statistically the best mid-range shooter in the game this past season.

Memphis picked up another point guard this offseason in the NBA Draft. Andrew Harrison is a rookie out of Kentucky, but he’ll likely be a non factor this upcoming season.
