Best Game

I’m a huge proponent of ‘trusting the CP25 process’. But in an attempt to be realistic about the first half of the season – it was hard to find a game that I could consider his ‘best’. A few stand above the rest.

Early in the season, during his first return to Dallas, Parsons led Memphis in scoring with 12 points. Later, in Oklahoma City, Parsons provided 14 points for the Grizzlies in a mere 18 minutes – without hitting a single three-pointer. Frustratingly so, Chandler’s heavy minutes restriction has prevented many possible second-half breakouts.

Highest scoring games aside, he’s shown that he can shoot (even if he’s missing shots) at a high volume while filling up a scorebook too. In his most recent six games, CP25 has shown an uptick in the rebounding column – pulling down five or more in three of those (seven against the Nets on the road).

He’s contributed in the assist column as well, dishing out seven in a win over Phoenix, along with a handful of dimes against both the Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets.

It’s coming. Just wait for it.
