Memphis Grizzlies All-star Break player review: Chandler Parsons
BEST PLAY
Finding a truly stellar play from a guy who has been less-than-aggressive in most outings is a tough job. Coming off an injury, the most rewarding plays to watch are the ones in which the athlete looks like himself again. In this case, Parson’s back-to-back threes at home against the Phoenix Suns fits the bill.
First, a step-back three. Next, Chandler’s signature pump gave him a wide open look. He’d follow both of these with an 18-foot jumper to boost his total to eight points after a few minutes into the second quarter.
That’s the CP we’ve been waiting on.
One could also argue that his three-pointer against the Mavericks was his best play – just for other reasons.
In case you missed that, Parsons drilled a corner-three in his first return to Dallas, and followed it with a sharp stare at his former owner (and good friend), Mark Cuban, who sits court side at every Mavericks game.
Classic Chandler.
