Best Play: The Putback Slam!

I don’t even know if my words can do this play justice. If this doesn’t prove to you just how athletic this young man is, I don’t know what will.

On 12/23 against the Houston Rockets, with Memphis up by 13 in the fourth quarter, Jarell exploded.

Ok maybe he didn’t actually explode, but by the sound of the crowd you’d think otherwise.

With Harrison leading the break and Martin trailing, Harrison misses the layup and Martin is there to clean it up. What gets lost in all of this is the fact that Ryan Anderson got demolished. I mean, even look at the thumbnail picture for the video. He had no idea what was coming. He was prepared to grab an easy rebound and get back on offense.

Someone forgot to tell him that nothing comes easy in the Grind House.
