(Honorable Mention – Vancouver) No. 1: Shareef Abdur-Rahim

Adbur-Rahim was, by no means, a terrible pick or basketball player. In his five seasons with the Grizzlies, he averaged 20.8 points and 8.2 rebounds. If you looked at all the Vancouver records, he held almost every one of them. Despite this, he falls victim to the guys drafted behind him.

Who they could’ve drafted instead

Mr. And-One himself, Stephon Marbury.

Peja Stojakovic.

Here’s where you should get your tissue boxes.

Ray Allen.

Steve Nash, a Canadian who could rejuvenated some sort of energy in Vancouver.

Kobe Bryant. You know that guy, right?

The Grizzlies missed out on the chance to acquire a legend, but if they picked one of them, Memphis may not have a team.
