As free agency looms, the Memphis Grizzlies have big decisions to make. Our writers give their predictions on what happens with the Vince Carter.

The Memphis Grizzlies’ offseason will be extremely difficult. Four key rotation players are entering the free agency. They don’t have to money to keep all of them or to build a superteam to pace with the Warriors and Cavaliers – sorry, ZBo.

Speaking of superteams. Many probably predict Vince Carter to go off somewhere and chase his first title. No one really knows if he plays on doing that, but it would sure be surprising.

Does he head out East to join LeBron and Company? Or, does he power up with the NWO of the NBA – otherwise known as the Golden State Warriors? Maybe, he rejects the notion of going to a superteam to still be a contributor on a playoff team.

What will “Half-man, half-amazing” do this offseason?

Vince Carter signs a one-year deal with the Warriors

After hinting at it on ESPN, Vince Carter pulls through and signs with the Warriors. With the future of Andre Iguodala looking murky, the Warriors need cheap perimeter help. Carter proved that he can still contribute at a role player-level, and that’s what Golden State needs out of him. As his career winds down, Mr. “Half-Man, Half-Amazing” has to have his sights set on a championship. He already has a Hall-of-Fame resume, and a Finals run will only make it look prettier. — Parker Fleming

VC signs a one-year deal with a title contender.

At this point in his career, Vince Carter has done everything possible, except win a championship. With this in mind, he’ll most likely sign a small deal with a contender such as Golden State, Cleveland or San Antonio to better his chances at winning a ring. — Mark Krebs

VC Signs one-year deal with Cavs or Warriors

I’ll be the first to say I love Vince Carter. Without him, the Grizzlies probably would’ve missed the playoffs, but it’s time for them to move on. They should sign someone in free agency that falls under the “Chandler Parsons Insurance Plan.” Then, the Grizzlies should focus on developing Dillon Brooks for the future. — Jerrod Smith
