No. 4: Beno Udrih

From a pure talent stand point, Beno Udrih wasn’t the best role player the Grizzlies had, but he sure fit alongside the ‘Core 4.’

Although he wasn’t the best defender, he was a dynamo on offense and helped Conley catch a 15-20 minute breather each night — something that’s been quite the struggle lately.

On offensive, he did a splendid job of initiating the offense and generating quick buckets. Udrih had a crafty game around the basket, and his mid-range jumper was automatic. As a result, he captured the hearts of the Memphis’ fans.

Unfortunately, his defensive deficiencies and age caught up with him, and the Memphis Grizzlies had to move on.

Honorable Mention: Mario Chalmers

We were robbed of a ‘Playoff Chalmers’ run in 2016. A playoff run that year would put him on this list, for sure.
