Chandler Parsons Looking His Best Since Joining Memphis Grizzlies
Forward Chandler Parsons has been working hard this summer to prove his worth to the Memphis Grizzlies’ fan base.
It has now been two years since Mike Conley convinced a free-agent Chandler Parsons to join forces with the Memphis Grizzlies. The clock is still ticking when it comes to Grizz Nation waiting for the real Chandler to stand up.
Through a possible 164 regular season games, Parsons has appeared in just 70. Aside from a few significant lingering injuries, it does not help that Chandler commonly stirs drama on social media. From rumors of who he has been dating to expensive vacations, fans have a right to be concerned when one of their team’s maximum-contracted players is focused on everything but their craft, their profession.
On Sunday, proof surfaced that Chandler Parsons has turned a new leaf. He posted a video (directly below) on his personal Instagram account. It showcased highlights and other clips of a recent on-court workout and pickup game.
As you can see, it definitely appears Chandler is finally at 100% health. Even he states “no restrictions” as the caption. Namely, can see this within his jump shot. Parsons is now getting the proper lift prior to his release. His attempts are no longer flat and hitting the front of the rim. Nothing is holding him back. This is the beautiful arch that the Memphis Grizzlies spent a large sum of money on.

We are now two months away from the regular season. Even sooner is the start to the Grizzlies’ training camp — about one month away. Not only will the return of Mike Conley give a major boost up the Western Conference standings board, but 100% version of Chandler Parsons will be another mega addition. He has his health, now he just needs to focus. This latest footage hints that Parsons is indeed locked in mentally.
If this idea comes to fruition, then Memphis absolutely becomes a darkhorse in the West. 40+ wins would be easily attainable and the 2017-18 season would be a complete and total blur of the past. It is not too late for Chandler Parsons to live up to his max contract.
Go Grizz!
