4th Man Award

Andre Emmett was not popularly known during his NBA days, but that does not mean that he cannot ball with the best of them. Having played professionally since 2004, Emmett has been a journeyman. In two stints in the association, he has donned the uniforms of the Memphis Grizzlies and New Jersey Nets. In-between those runs, Andre has competed in the NBA’s developmental league in addition to playing overseas in Lithuania, Belgium, France, and China.

Back on U.S. soil, Andre Emmett impressed in the BIG3 league in 2018. In stepping up majorly for his team — 3’s Company — a championship is now within reach. Within the eight-team league, Emmett individually ranks in the top-five of the categories of points, rebounds, assists, and steals. He has truly done some of everything for his team, though it is not quite the same landscape as traditional five-on-five basketball.

Being an X-factor for 3’s Company this season, this former Memphis Grizzlies wing has rightfully earned himself the BIG3’s 4th Man of the Year award. His strong play, especially late in the season, nearly earned him the league’s “Too Hard to Guard” award, too, but fell short to Al Harrington.
