When I first opened the game on Saturday, I had several things that I was looking for. Aside from the new animations that NBA 2K throws into its games, I was looking for how 2K made the new court, and the uniforms looked inside FedEx Forum.

Of course 2K nailed it…. Except for the vintage jumbo-tron hanging over the court. While I think that 2K will fix it once the developers get a peak of it in person when the season starts, the newer jumbo-tron was featured in NBA 2K18.

I almost sound like a needy person, because 2K nailed this years edition, from the shoes to the face scans of each player, all the way down to each players build. It looks great, so I think that a jumbo-tron being different isn’t a lot.

Aside from the jumbo-tron, the court looks so bright, that it makes you feel like the previous court did not belong, or did not need to be there. The new court looks great, and the home uniforms look great inside FedEx Forum in the game, and I bet they will look even better in person when the season starts.
