Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets are off to a hot start this season. They have a 9-1 record and are the only team to have beaten the Golden State Warriors.

The Nuggets have a balanced offensive attack which runs through their big man Nikola Jokic. He averages 17 points and 10 rebounds per game.

His best skill might be his ability to pass the basketball. He leads the team with 7.7 assists per game.

The young backcourt of Jamal Murray and Gary Harris off to a hot start. Murray is averaging 18.9 points per game while Harris is averaging 18.3

Neither of them has shot the three ball particularly well. Harris just under 27% while Murray is slightly above 31%.

The veteran Paul Millsap is back and healthy and he has played well to start the season. He is averaging 12.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

Will Barton is going to be out at least a few more weeks so it’ll be Torrey Craig in the starting lineup Wednesday night.

The Nuggets are a good defensive team that doesn’t play very fast paced. They rank 24th in pace at 99.56 possessions per game.

The defense has been a key for them getting off to such a hot start. They have the 3rd best defensive rating in the league at 101.8.

The Nuggets like to play a slow-paced style so Memphis isn’t gonna have a huge advantage by slowing the game down.

The Grizzlies will still try to control the game but they’re going to need to hit some threes to have a chance. If they can get some easy buckets off of steals that will also be a big key.

The Denver Nuggets are one of the best teams in the NBA. Memphis has to play a complete game if they want to have a chance to win.
