Shelvin Mack Is A Different Player

Shelvin Mack came up big in each of the Grizzlies first two road wins they had which were both in Utah. He came up big once again helping Memphis get a win in Milwaukee.

Mack struggled in some of the games early on but he has become a key part of the offense. He shoots the ball with a lot of confidence and has been a key part of this team.

He has never played this well during the first seven seasons of his career. In the first 13 games this season he looks like a completely different player.

He sure had his moments where he played throughout in his career but the efficiency is much better than it has ever been.

Mack has fit in great with the rest of the team. He has been the perfect backup point guard for this Grizzlies team.

His scoring in the third quarter was key for Memphis being able to extend the lead into double figures. He finished the game with 15 minutes including shooting three of six from beyond the arc.

He is averaging 11.5 points per game and has been making a high percentage of his shots. The 47.2% he is shooting from three-point range is a career best by more than 10 percent.

He has bought into the defensive mindset and toughness that this team plays with. He is averaging a career-best 1.2 steals per game.

The Memphis Grizzlies are gonna need to him keep playing at such a high level going forward. With the confidence he is playing with, there’s no reason not to expect him to do that.
