As the Memphis Grizzlies continue to be in the thick of NBA trade rumors, it is time to predict if they will remain rumors or if actual moves will be made prior to Thursday’s NBA Trade Deadline.

With less than 24 hours remaining on the NBA Trade Deadline shot clock for the Memphis Grizzlies, NBA trade rumors are running abundant and a multitude of possibilities are on the table for several of their players.

It seems as if there would be a 100% chance of transaction from the Grizzlies prior to the 3:00 PM Eastern Time buzzer, but then again, this is Memphis that we are discussing. A total fumble at the finish line is something we have already seen from them this season as well as one year ago at the previous season’s NBA Trade Deadline.

When considering any other NBA franchise, they would be able to get a deal done regardless of value when creating this much hubbub. When trades reach an “advanced stage,” that typically means the deal is done. Signed, sealed, and en route to being delivered. However, these are the Memphis Grizzlies we are talking about.

Grizz Nation has already witnessed Marc Gasol sit out of Tuesday’s home meeting due to trade speculation, but 24 hours later, and he is still on the roster. Each year, the bulk majority of NBA trades take place on Deadline Day, so there is certainly plenty of hope for deals to take place on the Grizzlies’ front if you are in that classification of wanting to see a move(s) happen.

It is safe to say that no team has been more involved in trade discussions over the past few weeks than the Memphis Grizzlies. Even with all of the Anthony Davis talk and coinciding NBA trade rumors, the Grizz are exhausting the phone lines.

Surely Memphis’ management team will not allow to have their efforts go to waste — leading to zero moves being made prior to the deadline — but crazier — and craziestthings have happened from this team in recent history.

Will a trade go down in the next 24 hours? Will multiple players be moved from the Grizzlies’ roster? Or will they stand pat and demand too much in return for their stars and expiring contracts?

The crew at Beale Street Bears will now present their personal thoughts on the chances the Memphis Grizzlies actually complete a trade or trades by Thursday’s NBA Trade Deadline.
