Memphis Grizzlies: 3 Hustle Players To Watch For 2019-20 NBA Season
By Chris Kern
The Memphis Grizzlies reshaped their roster at the Trade Deadline. Expect more moves this summer which could include some players from the Memphis Hustle getting a shot at the next level.
The Memphis Grizzlies made some big changes at the NBA Trade Deadline and many of those players will be back next season. They also have plenty of guys currently playing with the Memphis Hustle that could make an impact.
This isn’t talking about guys who are currently signed to the Grizzlies such as Jevon Carter and two-way player Yuta Watanabe. These are guys who are signed to G-league contracts who could be signed to NBA contracts for next season.
Carter and Watanabe are two guys who have certainly shown their ability and they will both have a chance to secure a permanent spot in the rotation with the Grizzlies.
Outside of the top three targets on my list, there are plenty of other quality players who could be considered such as Tarik Phillip and Markel Crawford. The Hustle as a whole has displayed plenty of quality players and the Grizzlies should keep their eyes on these guys as potential acquisitions for next year’s roster.
This team has good young players that they’re building around starting with Jaren Jackson Jr. They just need to get as many quality young role players around him as possible.
People will be looking at other teams for potential free agents but here are three guys who could be considered that are already in the Memphis Grizzlies organization.
