Here are three keys to the Memphis Grizzlies ending their 2018-19 NBA season schedule on a high note against the Golden State Warriors.

The Memphis Grizzlies‘ 2018-19 NBA season will come to a screeching halt after Wednesday as they will not be one of the 16 playoff-bound teams. They will be goin’ fishin’ ahead of the postseason, but there is one final task in front of them and their offseason plans.

On Wednesday, the Grizzlies (32-49) will take the floor against the Golden State Warriors (57-24) in Game No. 82 of 82. If the result is a loss for Memphis, it will be a 4-0 season sweep in favor of the Dubs. However, with Golden State sitting pretty in the Western Conference’s No. 1 spot, the Memphis Grizzlies will likely see a much different form of the Warriors than they have received in the previous three meetings.

After a season of many ups and downs from a plethora of aspects, a victory would be a stellar way to end the season. It would be a victory for youth development. It would be a win for the future. For the fans, it would provide positivity into an offseason of the unknown as the Grizzlies prepare for a new era of Memphis hoops.

This will be the second-consecutive season the Memphis Grizzlies have failed to reach the NBA Playoffs, but there remains plenty of implications behind Wednesday’s matchup itself, and that conversation starts and ends with the NBA Draft. Plus, it is another prime opportunity for the Grizz to build its youngsters versus a contending opponent. Practice makes perfect, right?

Finally. It is here. The fan base needs it. The players need it. The city needs it, too. Beale Street Bears presents three keys to the Memphis Grizzlies ending their 2018-19 NBA season in victorious fashion.
