Memphis Grizzlies: 5 predictions for Tyus Jones season
By Ethan Becker
2. 1.5 Steals Per Game
Jones is probably one of the most well-developed, defensive guards on this Memphis team. Barring a starting position, Jones won’t be seeing a huge increase in his defense stats, and in his hustle plays such as rebounds, assists, and steals. That’s why, right now, the over/under for Jones’ steals number should be around 1.5 steals per game.
Jones will probably be looking at playing in more than the 68 games that he played in last year, so he should have more opportunities to show the pressure that he places on ball handlers, and be able to move the opposing offense in the direction that he wants them to go.
