3. Jaren Jackson Jr.: 44.7% from 3

This is a crazy stat when you think about it. 44.7% is a solid percentage when you’re talking about field goals, but when you’re talking about 3-pointers, it’s crazy.

Over the last five games, and among players who average at least three 3-point shots per game, JJJ ranks 24th in the league, and among players who average at least six (he averages 7.6), he’s 12th in the league.

When you look at players who average at least as many attempted 3’s as he does, he leads the league.

While that may seem like an over-specified stat, it’s important to know why that’s so impressive. Through the last five games, there have only been 16 players to average at least 7.6 3-point shots per game. Out of those 16, four are former All-Stars, and six are potential All-Stars. That list includes some of the league’s top players and best shooters like Kawhi Leonard, Damian Lillard, Trae Young, and James Harden. And JJJ is leading them all. That’s an impressive accomplishment for a player in just his second season, after playing a shortened rookie year.
