USA vs. World Game: Ja Morant and Brandon Clarke

The USA vs. World Game was the only event this year that Memphis was represented in, but they were REALLY represented with three of the Grizzlies players not only competing, but starting in the event.

Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Brandon Clarke have all had amazing starts to their careers, and next season looks to be no different for Clarke and Morant.

The duo averages a total of 29.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game over the course of this season. They also make an average 11.9 of their 21.9 shots (54.5%). Morant is on his way to winning the Rookie of the Year award, and if there was an award for most shocking rookie performance (which, on a side note, how is there not an award for that), Clarke would be one of the top picks for it.

Avoiding anything completely unforeseen, there’s absolutely no reason to believe that next year will be any different, and assuming it’s not, Morant and Clarke will be playing on that Friday night next season.
