2. Josh Jackson

So, this one might be cheating a little bit. Jackson is technically already on the team, but he will be an unrestricted free agent when that period does come around.

And when that period does come, the Grizzlies should do everything they can to re-sign Jackson.

Mainly, Jackson would be a nice backup to Justise Winslow, should he be healthy enough to play come the resume of an NBA season. Kyle Anderson hasn’t been bad by any means, but I think it’s fair to say that he hasn’t blown away any expectations coming out of the San Antonio Spurs system.

Jackson is a phenomenally talented player, whose ability has been overshadowed by off-court issues throughout his career. However, since coming to Memphis, it seems like he has put all that behind him and has had a bit of a renaissance. Considering the fact the Memphis has been able to improve or revive the careers of both Jackson and Dillon Brooks to this point, it would probably be mutually beneficial for Jackson to stay for a full run in Memphis.
