3. Marcus Morris Sr.

Last season, Marcus Morris Sr. was having his best career year scoring average-wise in his 43 games with the New York Knicks.

Morris on a bad Knicks team was averaging 19.6 points per game and shooting 44 percent from three. Morris’ name was one of the most-discussed about being moved at last season’s trade deadline. His name was  being floated around to several contenders. His services were acquired by the Los Angeles Clippers and was brought to them to be a key piece.

With the Clippers, Morris’s averages dropped but this was expected with so much star power and only so many shots to go around in LA.

So, where does Morris fit on the Grizzlies roster? Morris brings a true 3-point threat and floor spacer. Morris would also bring toughness and grit. Morris plays with toughness and an edge each night. Morris can guard multiple positions on defense and he can play multiple positions on offense when asked. This alone makes him valuable to many NBA teams.
