This Memphis Grizzlies’ win streak is coming at the perfect time

Like I’ve said, this team hasn’t been able to create consistent results in the absence of Jaren Jackson Jr. In fact, after a 7-game win streak at the beginning of the year, you’d be hard-pressed to find back-to-back wins for the Memphis Grizzlies.

Their youth was showing up and it was translating to the score sheet. They’d get a strong win, then immediately lose in humiliating fashion. But that ended last night when Memphis won their third game of their last four outings.

They didn’t just win either, they took a commanding lead before halftime and didn’t look back. They were playing around with the Washington Wizards by the end of the game.

The exciting thing about the game was that we saw countless guys step up who hadn’t been extremely productive lately. De’Anthony Melton had a great offensive game. Justise Winslow was a rock once again. Dillon Brooks and Brandon Clarke gave the team great minutes.

But there was one player who stood above the rest.
