Memphis Grizzlies PG De’Anthony Melton has been a pleasant surprise this year and continues to dominate off the bench

If there is any player on this team that Grizzlies fans would like to see more of in the second half of the season, it would be De’Anthony Melton.

For a team that hasn’t had much success when it comes to making shots behind the arc, Melton has been one of the lone bright spots. De’Anthony is currently third on the team in three-point percentage for players that average at least two attempts per game.

Melton brings this energy to the court similar to Morant and he does not let mistakes bother him, which is a very good trait to have. He is one to take a shot, miss, and confidently come back and bury a basket in your face in the next possession.

Along with his outstanding scoring play, he has also done a nice job of finding open teammates and also being disruptive defensively. Melton is fourth on the team in assists per game and fifth on the team in steals per game.

De’Anthony Melton has made a great impact for this team and Grizzlies fans can only hope he doesn’t lose fire over the break.
