Memphis Grizzlies PG Tyus Jones has helped lead a very scary second unit this season

Tyus Jones has been a great facilitator off the bench for Memphis this season. That’s why he’s here.

Tyus has done a solid job of being both a playmaker and adding a little bit of scoring whenever Ja is out, and you couldn’t ask for much more from him. When Tyus came to Memphis, everybody knew what to expect from him, and he hasn’t disappointed.

Jones currently is second on the team with a 29.6% assist percentage and has also kept the ball safe, having the third-lowest turnover percentage on the team as well.

Along with his great feel for the game offensively, he also has brought some defense. Tyus is currently averaging 1.3 steals per game and is second in the NBA in steal percentage (2.8).

If there’s anything Tyus could get better at, it would be to add some consistency offensively, as he’s only hitting 29.3% of threes and 43.9% of his shots altogether. But, overall, a solid first half for Jones.
